How do I cancel a payment?

We are working on allowing you to do this from within Directli however at the moment you’ll need to do this from GoCardless. Just login at www.gocardless.com, go to the Payments tab, find the payment in question, click the Payment Reference, and then click 'Cancel Payment' in the top right.

In most cases you are able to cancel a payment up until 4pm the day after it was originally created. If the Cancel Payment doesn't show up, it means it cannot be cancelled as has already been submitted to BACS and will need to be refunded once it has arrived with GoCardless.
